Borjomi National Park

The last three days were spent trekking through Borjomi National Park. I arrived there by train from Tbilisi (4 hour ride for just 2 lari/$1.25!!!), stayed a night and left the next morning. There are a few shelters throughout the park and I stayed the night in those. The hiking was pretty intense, both because of the elevation change and the mud on the north side of the mountains. And I was hiking alone for nearly the entire three days!

  1. A beautiful park! Once again, however, I am glad I did not know
where you were hiking and that you were alone, until AFTER the hike!
