Lima

I’ve been in Lima for the entire day, though it seems like at least two with the amount of hours I have been awake. There are about 10 volunteers staying in the homestay, which is run by some wonderful people. I have already been to church, ate three great meals, and played a great game of soccer. As a precaution against swine flu, all the new volunteers are required to stay away from kids for 4 days, so I will not be starting until Thursday. Since I’ll be here for so long and haven’t seen the city, it is fine with me. I get to stay in a room with my friend Ted and we have our own bathroom. Food is excellent and I am very much looking forward to the rest of this trip!
